V-NISSG · Mandatory module
Technologies
Mandatory module for all participants – cross-device knowledge of laser, IPL, radiofrequency and ultrasound.
About this module
The Technologies module is, alongside the Fundamentals module, mandatory for all participants. It imparts cross-device technical understanding: how do laser, IPL, radiofrequency and ultrasound work – and how do they differ in effect, risk and area of application?
Learning objectives
- Compare technology principles of laser, IPL, RF and US
- Understand device-specific parameters and their effects
- Assess risk profile by technology
- Correctly calibrate, maintain and document devices
- Recommend the appropriate technology to clients
Course content
